Were grateful for our vacation at Corolla by the sea

To remain with fondness in our memory

The splendor of the sun’s early rise

All the beauty we have seen in our eyes

A seagull to eat from our hands gives simplistic joy to remain

The moonlight, the stars, the evening breeze the same

To measure the ocean distance the wonder of imagination

Gives us the indication perhaps to realize all creation

No limit to the awesome beauty we see

Reminds us of how privileged we are to be free

We travel the highway come to a wonderful place

Where with all the awe of creation we embrace

Delight in our heart to remember forever

The joy will leave us never

In the fondness of our memories

We shall always hold onto these

That when in doubt, worry or fear

To lift our spirit when in thought of here

All the fun and heartfelt bonds we form

Reminds us of the reason we were born

The gift tremendous with gratitude, thankfulness

To rekindle our hope and happiness

My sorrow has left me washed away at sea

A most heavenly place I could ever be

The joy sparks the fondness of my memory

Not to regret all the wonder I could never see

For I have been given a chance to explore

To discover life every open door

Ah the splendor of the blessings we receive

Brings hope to a destiny all to achieve

One day this place will bring joy in my memory, to gladden my heart

I shall always remember and giggle when I hear a fart.
