I'm
your little fire-cracker,
Pow! Boom! Bang!
It is for American Heritage
That always I have 'sang.' Or rather is it the past-tense Sung?
It's really quite on the tip of my tongue.
At any rate, America our land is great.
The present and the future,
I guarantee, Will be given my best shot.
One Nation under God-
That's exactly what we got!
So crack, crackle every mom and Pop:
Behold patriotic sparkles Flying
As each of us composes our Mission-Statement
Before we go a-dying.
Dear ladies and gentlemen of the Jury,
This Case encompasses quite a Fury!
Does the individual run the State?
Or the state the individual?
Is a question we are accountable
To get straight.
America's song has enriched us so long:
Analysis of the Bill of Rights
Hardly is wrong.
And Constitutionally never too late,
Especially in New Jersey, an original Colony-state.
Easy, it seems,
To cop-out on the Time Frame,"
Don't you agree?
But I'm not about to let-you
Don't you see?
I'll still fight like Hell
In my own little way
To show Mr. Jim McGreevy
That every man's a Governor of
His very own mind:
Dignity, Heart, Soul, And Body -:
And what goes-behind!
If only somebody knew
What I'm going-through.
As for me, I am no fake.
I pray today and tomorrow
Will be another day-break!
Yes, indeed, I'm your little Firecracker,
Red, white, and blue:
For all I ever wanted
Was for me to be me
And You to be you!
