Institute for Wellness and Recovery Initiatives
Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey (CSP-NJ)
The Institute for Wellness and Recovery Initiatives of CSP-NJ
(Institute) promotes and provide innovative, state of the art services aimed at creating wellness, recovery and economic self-sufficiency for persons living with disabilities. Through our interactive and uniquely tailored trainings, seminars and consultation, we assist organizations in developing a workforce and service system that produces greater client outcomes in satisfaction, self-sufficiency, independent living and creative employment opportunities.
In the late 1980’s CSP-NJ, a statewide, nationally recognized leader in mental health consumer operated services and since that time, has established itself as a respected innovator of creative services that promote the wellness and recovery of people with disabilities through housing, employment and financial/economic development services. The
Institute was borne early in 2000 as new agency venture with the following objectives:
• Promote a mental health service system based on a recovery and wellness orientation.
• Establish CSP-NJ as not only innovative leaders in providers of housing, support services, self-help and economic development for consumers of mental health services; but as a lead training and consultation institute in the state of New Jersey; and nationally through research and dissemination efforts.
